Moncada Celebrates Book Week with Activities for All Ages

Moncada's Municipal Library organizes a varied and inclusive program to promote reading from April 17 to 24.

The Moncada Municipal Library has organized a new edition of Book Week, a cultural initiative aimed at fostering reading habits and bringing literature closer to all citizens with a diverse and intergenerational program running from April 17 to 24.

Activities will commence on April 17 at 6:30 PM with the presentation of the book Clara i Diego aprenen a respectar by local author Lorena García Marco, a proposal specifically aimed at families.
On April 20, also at 6:30 PM, the Ausiàs March Hall of the Moncada Town Hall will host the presentation and a reading club for Ingrata pàtria by Martí Domínguez.
Coinciding with Book Day celebrations, on April 23 at 5:30 PM, a session of world stories will take place with València Acull, targeting children. Prior registration at the library is required by April 22 to participate.

"Book Week is an opportunity to turn reading into a space for gathering and coexistence. From the City Council, we want the library to be a lively, open, and accessible point for all ages that highlights the importance of reading and how enriching it is for people."

The program will conclude on April 24 at 6:30 PM with monologues against exclusion, also in collaboration with València Acull. This activity, aimed at adults, requires registration by April 23.
