According to the final data published by the National Statistics Institute (INE), this record is the lowest noted in the autonomous region since February 2026. In monthly terms, inflation experienced an increase of 0.4%, while the annual cumulative figure has reached 1.5%.
By sector, transport leads the increases with 6% more than in the same month of the previous year. Also notable are the increases in alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.8%), restaurants and accommodation (4.7%), and the insurance and financial services sector (4.4%).
On the other hand, the most moderate increases were found in recreational activities, sports, and culture, at 0.8%, followed by healthcare (1.5%) and the clothing and footwear group (1.7%), which showed a more contained evolution compared to other categories.
At the national level, the CPI also recorded a monthly increase of 0.4% and reduced its year-on-year rate to 3.2%. Among the autonomous communities, Madrid, Castilla y León, and Castilla-La Mancha presented the highest rates, while Extremadura, Asturias, and La Rioja closed the month with the lowest indices.
