The Plaza de la Virgen transforms into a grand ballroom during the 'dansà' sessions, an event that is increasingly gaining popularity. Participation is so high that limits per commission must be set to ensure order and space, demonstrating that traditional dance is on the rise.
The youngest participants are in charge of opening this celebration, surprising tourists with their grace and precision in their movements. Many visitors capture the moment with their phones, marveling at the skill of these dancers dressed in period attire.
It is surprising to see how these little ones move with such grace and without making more mistakes than necessary. A generation ago, traditional dance was a rarity.
All children's commissions that have applied participate in the 'dansà', without the need for the 'numerus clausus' applied to adults. The children's court, led by the children's Fallera Mayor of València, is the first to appear, capturing the attention of all present and the camera flashes.
The children's 'dansà' attracted a large audience, as Friday is a favorable day for such events, serving as a prelude to the subsequent sessions with adults.
