The València City Council has begun analyzing the documentation for the Festival de les Arts, scheduled for June 5th and 6th at the City of Arts and Sciences, to ensure regulatory compliance.

A municipal technical team is meticulously reviewing the documents submitted by CACSA, the managing company of the City of Arts and Sciences, to determine if the Festival de les Arts meets all legal requirements, with a particular focus on noise pollution regulations.
Councilor Juan Giner confirmed that the City Council issued a request to CACSA to remind them of their obligation to comply with current regulations. The received documentation, described as "very voluminous," includes the festival's technical project, plans, report, emergency plan, and acoustic documentation.
The review comes amid uncertainty for the festival, as other events have relocated following a court ruling that found fundamental rights of residents violated due to noise disturbances. A recent judicial decision also declined to rule on the programming of concerts without prior administrative verification of noise levels.
Councilor Giner emphasized that the City Council will ensure compliance with regulations "in all cases," and a definitive statement will be issued once the technical analysis of the documentation is complete. The 2026 edition of the festival is set to feature artists such as Siloé, La La Love You, Pignoise, Leire Martínez, Two Door Cinema Club, Dorian, Carlos Sadness, and Triángulo de Amor Bizarro.
