The Valencian Community continues to experience high temperatures this Tuesday, with the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) maintaining a yellow warning for heat across a significant part of the region, particularly in Valencia and southern Alicante.

Temperatures could surpass 38°C in areas of La Vall de Cofrents-Aiora and the surroundings of Xàtiva. Aemet's yellow warning will be in effect between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM for maximums exceeding 36°C along the southern Alicante coast and in the northern inland and pre-coastal areas of Valencia, and reaching 38°C in the southern inland of Valencia province.
The meteorological forecast predicts tropical nights once again, with temperatures not dropping below 20°C on the coast and pre-coastal areas, and torrid nights, above 25°C, in some municipalities. Provincial capitals are expected to see highs of 34°C in Castelló de la Plana, 33°C in the city of València, and 32°C in Alicante.
On Monday, thermal values were already significantly high. In Sorita, in Els Ports, temperatures reached 40.1°C, making it the hottest town according to the Avamet network. Nearly thirty municipalities exceeded 35°C, including Villena (39.3°C), Morella (38.3°C), Rossell (38.3°C), Vilafamés (38.2°C), or Benidorm (37.7°C).
In response to this scenario, the Ministry of Health has activated a medium risk (orange) alert for heat in about twenty municipalities in the Maestrat and Els Ports regions. Emergencies, meanwhile, has declared a high risk of fires.
