The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) inaugurated its 2026 Employment Forum this Wednesday, bringing together 225 companies and establishing itself as Spain's largest university job fair, aiming to connect young talent with the professional world.

This key event for attracting young talent is taking place in the Nexus gardens of the Vera campus, in València, from Wednesday to Thursday, from 10:00 to 18:00. The event is open to UPV students, as well as students and graduates from across Spain.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the first vice-president of the Consell and regional minister of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality, Susana Camarero, along with academic and institutional representatives.

"The connection between talent, companies, and administration positions the Valencian Community as a leader in youth employment creation."

The forum directly connects university talent with top-tier companies, including both Valencian and multinational firms, seeking qualified profiles to enhance their competitiveness. In the previous edition, over 41,000 resumes were collected, and 95% of participating companies expressed interest in repeating the experience.
The UPV emphasizes that this gathering goes beyond mere job placement, representing a strategic alliance between the academic world and the business sector to foster an economy based on knowledge and innovation.
According to data from the university's Employment Observatory, over 40% of graduates find employment upon completing their studies, a figure that approaches 82% after one year and exceeds 91% after five years. This solidifies the UPV as one of the institutions with the best job placement rates.
This year, with record participation, the UPV reinforces its role as a driver of youth employment and a catalyst for the Valencian economy, also contributing to attracting investment and business opportunities to the region.
To facilitate access to the job market, the Integrated Employment Service organized various preparatory activities in recent weeks, such as resume reviews, digital footprint analysis, and interview simulations.
