Mostra de València seeks designer for 41st edition campaign

The Palau de la Música in Valencia has launched an open call for design and communication professionals and companies to create the graphic image for the 41st Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani, to be held from November 3rd to 15th.

The project call, which is now active and will conclude on June 25th, aims to select a professional or company for artistic consultancy and the development of the festival's image. Cultural Action Councilor, José Luis Moreno, has encouraged participation.
This call, carried out in collaboration with ADCV, APIV, and Comunitad, goes beyond creating a poster, defining itself as a work of artistic consultancy for an institutional campaign that includes a guide of criteria for the catalog and ongoing technical coordination.
The contract will be awarded through a minor contract modality, with a base bidding budget of 9,982.50 euros (VAT included). Professionals, design or illustration studios, advertising agencies, or companies in the sector, as well as temporary joint ventures, are eligible to apply, provided they are registered in the IAE and up-to-date with their Social Security obligations.
Applications must be submitted in PDF format, including a portfolio of works (maximum ten projects related to the assignment) and a curriculum vitae or professional accreditation report. The services include the creation of the original graphic piece in vertical and horizontal formats, the definition of visual criteria for the catalog, and a detailed guide.
A selection committee will evaluate the technical and artistic quality, originality, and experience of the candidates. Proposals should be sent via email to mostradevalencia@palauvalencia.com.
