The Generalitat Valenciana has allocated a total of 19.5 million euros to students in public and private universities in the Valencian Community, as well as in higher artistic studies at ISEACV, to support their studies during the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Directorate General for Universities has resolved the Manuela Solís grants for the 2025-2026 academic year, awarding 5,358 aid packages out of 12,737 applications submitted, representing 42.06 percent of the total. The call will benefit 11% more students than in the previous academic year, the Generalitat highlighted in a statement.
The call aims to "promote equal opportunities and facilitate access to and permanence in higher education studies." In this regard, the grants include a fixed aid of 3,500 euros, which can be increased up to 6,000 euros based on academic performance, combining economic equity criteria with recognition of effort and academic merit.
Specifically, the total amount disbursed amounts to 19,492,750 euros. The majority of the funding is directed towards undergraduate students, particularly those in their second year and beyond, who receive over 13.4 million euros.
The 2025-2026 call incorporated improvements in income thresholds and deductions applicable to certain family situations to broaden access to aid. Specifically, income thresholds for single-member and two-member families were increased, aligning them with the minimum interprofessional wage and the state grant call.
Thus, the threshold for single-member family units rose from 5,730 euros to 7,560 euros, while for two-member families it increased from 10,656 euros to 11,340 euros. The remaining income thresholds were increased by 5% compared to the previous call, and deductions for special family circumstances or disability were raised by 50 euros.
The University of Valencia received the highest number of grants awarded, with 1,559 scholarships and funding of 5.6 million euros. It is followed by the University of Alicante, with 1,494 grants, and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with 774. Additionally, 225 grants were awarded to students of higher artistic studies, totaling 806,500 euros.
All information can be consulted in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) and on the Universities website of the Generalitat. With this call, the Generalitat emphasizes that it "reaffirms its commitment to equal access to higher education, support for talent, and the reduction of economic barriers for Valencian students."
