“"I am very satisfied with how this edition has gone. We have had a very good reception from exhibitors, with 10% more, and also from the public, who came massively. Sales have gone very well. If we haven't surpassed the records of other years, it was simply because it rained three key days, and that greatly affects an event like ours, which is outdoors, of course. But even so, satisfaction. It's too early to talk about specific figures, but I believe we have surpassed last year's one million euros in turnover."

The València Book Fair has exceeded one million euros in revenue, as confirmed by its management, despite rain affecting three key days of the event.
This year's edition of the València Book Fair confirmed positive forecasts, achieving record queues for book signings by authors such as Allice Kellen and Joana Marcús. Some of their fans waited from six in the morning to secure a good spot. Kellen presented El club del olvido and Marcús, Los ecos de Jude.
The fair's management highlighted the diversity of the best-selling titles. In Spanish, works such as Plomo, by José Luis Sastre, and Comerás flores, by Lucía Solla Sobral, which was presented at the fair, stood out. La lonja de la seda, by Juan Antonio Ferrándiz, a Valencian author who captivated with a story set in the Lonja de València, also received a good reception.
Books in Valencian also recorded good sales, especially those about the musical group La Fúmiga, including a comic and an essay on their history. Another prominent title in Valencian was Punt d'Aranya, by Nerea Pallares. Likewise, the presence of international writers such as Leïla Slimani and Zülfü Livaneli generated great interest and public attendance.
The fair also highlighted the rise of a new narrative from younger generations, with authors such as Nerea Pallares herself, Lucía Solla, and Natalia Moreno, who presented Madonna no nació en Wisconsin, all of whom achieved great sales success and public reception.
