The Valencia Provincial Council has shared its management and support model for municipalities with the authorities of Moldova, who are seeking European benchmarks for their territorial restructuring.

The provincial institution participated in the European Forum for Territorial Restructuring, held in Chisinau. The aim of the event was to analyze how intermediate administrations can improve the provision of public services to citizens, a key aspect for the country in its process of accession to the European Union.
During the meeting, the representative of the Valencia Provincial Council highlighted the interest of other countries, such as Poland, in joining the Partenalia network. This network defends the interests of local and provincial governments, serving as a platform to share successful experiences in managing social policies, fire prevention, and IT support for towns.

"We want to show them how we collaborate with towns in terms of social policy, roads, fire prevention, firefighters, social affairs, IT support, etc., and thus export our model to their country."

The Valencian model, based on supra-municipal cooperation, was presented as an example of efficiency in meeting the needs of smaller municipalities. Through direct investment plans, the provincial corporation facilitates the modernization of water networks and the rehabilitation of cultural facilities that would otherwise be unaffordable for many localities.
The forum concluded with a joint declaration committed to a modern provincial organization aligned with European standards. The event was attended by representatives from countries such as Italy, France, Poland, and Germany, consolidating cooperation between territories to strengthen local public services.
