The Etnomusic festival, organized by L'ETNO, returns to Valencia on May 7 with a new edition that fuses traditional music with jazz, classical, and pop, offering a diverse and innovative experience.

The 23rd edition of Etnomusic, under the artistic direction of Paco Valiente, aims to offer the public a diverse and innovative experience. L'ETNO's musical proposal returns with multiple links between traditional music, jazz, classical music, and pop, connecting tradition with innovation.
The festival will begin on May 7 and run until September 26, with a diverse and eclectic program that will take the stage at the museum and in the municipalities of La Pobla de Vallbona and Yátova. The event will bring together artists and groups, creating a map that extends from our regions to the eastern Mediterranean, from nearby France (Occitania) to Galicia. A total of eight folk or traditional music proposals make up the lineup for this new edition.

"L'ETNO's folk and world music festival has managed to establish itself on the Valencian cultural agenda, connecting with different audiences and strengthening its provincial dimension."

Paco Teruel · Deputy of Culture
Concerts at L'ETNO will begin in early May in the courtyards of the Centre Cultural La Beneficència, home of L'ETNO. On May 7, Matthieu Saglio's group will present a multicultural proposal. On May 14, Magalí Sare will offer a concert dedicated to traditional women's songs in Europe. On May 21, the duo Cocanha will bring Occitan rhythms, and on May 28, the Valencian group Krama will fuse Greek and Valencian traditions. The lineup is completed with Gala and Ovidio on May 30, with an innovative proposal rooted in Galician tradition.
Additionally, the program will include a family concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Valencian group Rodamons, which will take place on May 24 in collaboration with the SARC of the Culture Department of the Diputació de València.
