The festival, born with a vision for continuity, aims to strengthen Valencia's role as a summer music destination. It will feature a single stage within an air-conditioned venue to ensure a better experience despite the high summer temperatures.
The initiative is driven by the Musicians for Health Foundation, an organization that has been bringing live music to hospitals and socio-sanitary centers for over a decade. The festival's profits will be used to fund micro-concerts in these settings and create job opportunities for young musicians.
The project will also include a solidarity 'row 0' for those who wish to contribute to the cause without attending the event. In this way, Reve Fest combines leisure, culture, and social commitment.
The Musicians for Health Foundation, founded in 2015, has held over 40,000 micro-concerts, reaching half a million vulnerable individuals. Its founder, Guillermo Giner, was inspired by his experience accompanying his hospitalized mother to humanize these spaces.
The Reve Fest lineup includes, in addition to María Becerra, a prominent Latin music artist, performers such as RVFV, Kidd Voodoo, La Zowi, L0rna, and the Valencian artist C Marí, who will perform his only show in Valencia. The program will be rounded out by DJs from the local urban scene.
