The Popular Municipal Group of Valencia City Council has expanded its communication team with the appointment of journalist Noelia Camacho as a new advisor.

The local Government Board approved last Friday the appointment of journalist Noelia Camacho as an advisor for the 'popular' party within the council. Camacho, who holds a degree in Journalism from the Universitat de València, will begin her new role next Tuesday, July 1st.
Since 2025, the journalist had been working for the Valencian Community delegation of the newspaper La Razón, primarily covering education and culture news. Previously, she was part of the staff of the newspaper Las Provincias for over a decade, where she also worked in the newspaper's cultural section.
For her duties, Camacho will receive a salary of 68,532.80 euros gross per year, according to the municipal administration's salary scales.
With this addition, the Popular Municipal Group fills 27 out of the 29 advisor positions it is entitled to within the local corporation's allocation. The corporation has a total of 63 temporary positions distributed proportionally among the four parties with institutional representation and the Mayor's office.
