The Valencia Science Museum is renewing its cultural offerings this summer with the interactive exhibition '¡Dance! The Art of Movement', set to open its doors on July 2.

Located on the first floor of the museum, the exhibition invites the public to explore dance as a universal and spontaneous expression through choreographic experiences and educational technology. This initiative, announced to coincide with International Dance Day, is the result of a collaboration with the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie de Paris and the Centre National de la Danse.
The exhibition is structured into three thematic blocks: 'Spin', 'Jump', and 'Gather', each introduced by audiovisual pieces that prepare visitors for action. Through individual and collective installations, attendees can engage in activities such as controlling letters with body movement, practicing rhythmic jumps on floor markings, or taking dance lessons covering styles from waltz to disco music.
Additionally, the system will capture participants' movements to offer a technical analysis of their jumps on screen. This setup aims for visitors to transition from passive spectators to protagonists of the exhibition, fostering interaction with others and physical self-awareness.

"This exhibition encourages the public to participate and dance from the very first moment, emphasizing that it is fully interactive and visitors will not stop moving and having fun while interacting with other attendees."

The journey combines entertainment with learning key concepts about body dynamics and the history of dance, consolidating the museum's commitment to dynamic content that appeals to emotions and total interactivity during the summer season.
