Casa Gourmet's new offering, valued at 80 euros and available for 49 €, provides a 39% saving. The selection includes Casa de la Ermita Crianza 2022 (DO Jumilla), Terrer d’Aubert 2020 (DO Tarragona), and Negre Finca Renardes 2022 (DO Penedès), showcasing the richness of the Mediterranean vineyard.
The journey begins in Jumilla with Casa de la Ermita Crianza 2022. Produced at 700 meters altitude in the El Carche Protected Regional Park, this Monastrell, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon blend stands out for its depth, freshness, and black fruit notes. The winery, founded by the García family in 1999, was a pioneer in organic farming in the region.
The second stop is in Tarragona with Terrer d’Aubert 2020, by Vinyes del Terrer. Located two kilometers from the sea, this Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon wine grows on lumaquela soils, contributing minerality and saline notes. It is a single-vineyard wine reflecting the sea's proximity and the territory's identity.
The selection is completed by Finca Renardes 2022, an organic and vegan wine from Parató Vinícola in Penedès. Primarily made from old-vine Tempranillo, it combines ripe fruit, spicy notes, and a mineral background. The winery, founded in 1975, practices 100% organic viticulture.
This June selection from Casa Gourmet invites exploration of three ways to understand Mediterranean red wine: the depth of Jumilla, the minerality of Tarragona, and the approachable fruit of Penedès. The six bottles are ideal for home enjoyment or gifting, offering excellent value for money.
