Nearly 1,800 people attended the event at Moll de Costa on Saturday, which also formalized Miguel Ramírez León as child president and the members of the respective courts of honor. The mayoress of Castelló, Begoña Carrasco, presented the sashes to the two queens, accrediting them as the main festival representatives of the maritime district.
Carrasco highlighted that the Sant Pere festivals represent "tradition, emotion, and pride of belonging," emphasizing the union and commitment of El Grau. She valued the work of the Sant Pere Festival Commission and wished the festival representatives an unforgettable celebration.
The event was attended by the deputy mayor of El Grau, Ester Giner; members of the city council; the president of the Port Authority, Rubén Ibáñez; the queens of the Castellón festivals, Clara Sanz and Ana Colón, accompanied by the president of the Junta de Festes, Raúl Collazos; and the president of the Festival Commission, Miguel Valerino.
The court of honor includes Claudia Sáez Milá, María Gómez Vicente, Luna Carrasco Salom, Virginia Blay Villalba, Lucía Gallego Pérez, Edurne Giner Gil, Victoria Rodríguez Martínez, Lucía Benítez García, Marina Cifuentes Victorio, and María Ballester Guerrero. Child companions are Yahir Fernández de Marcos Llorens and Alejandro Jiménez Voltes.
The proclamation show's theme was the Jardinet del Port, recreating the atmosphere of dances from the 1960s and 1970s with foxtrot, chachachá, and pasodoble, and paying tribute to the artist Inocencio Sanz Barrera.
The event's speaker was Lledó Querol Albiol, queen of El Grau in 2001. The ceremony included numerous offerings from various entities, groups, associations, and other festival representatives from the province.
