The Camp de Mestalla will be the venue, between July 1 and 12, for a new edition of The Champions Burger gastronomic festival, which will bring together 22 establishments to find the best burger in Spain.

The gastronomic event will debut the California Dreaming theme, replacing the current NFL-inspired setting. This change will affect both the venue's decoration and the type of product, as participants must prepare their proposals using the smash technique, which consists of pressing the meat onto the grill to achieve a crispy texture.
The Valencian representation in the contest will consist of the establishments Beak & Trotter, El Poble, and Burgaccia. Meanwhile, the province of Castellón will feature Muralla, winner of the 2023 edition, and Delicious. The culinary offer will be completed with stalls specializing in french fries, chicken, donuts, and cheesecakes.
The public will be in charge of deciding the winning burgers via a QR code. Evaluation criteria will include the quality of the bread, meat, combination of ingredients, presentation, and originality. The three most voted proposals will form the local podium, while the best-rated one will receive a special mention before the national final.
To ensure coexistence with the neighborhood, the organization has decided to do without music and install a system called Civic Traffic Light. This device, made of LED strips, will monitor ambient volume: if the noise remains within the margins, attendees will have discounts on drinks and fries, while if the limit is exceeded, the promotion will be suspended.
