The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) has reported over 50 kilometers of traffic jams on the roads of the Comunitat Valenciana during the Easter 'Return Operation', with significant incidents in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.

One of the most critical points was recorded on the A-3, where an accident, coupled with the high volume of vehicles connecting with Madrid, generated up to 20 kilometers of slow traffic between Requena and Siete Aguas in the direction of Valencia.
On the AP-7, a vehicle fire caused another 20 kilometers of slow traffic between Gandia and Tavernes de la Valldigna, also heading towards Valencia. On the same highway, near Paterna, up to nine kilometers of congestion were reported in the direction of Barcelona during the morning, although the situation has improved and is currently reduced to about three kilometers.
The province of Alicante also experienced congestion, with approximately 10 kilometers of traffic jams on the A-31 between Sax and Villena in the direction of Madrid, due to the heavy traffic typical of this holiday period.
In contrast, traffic in Castellón was more fluid, although a specific accident caused about two kilometers of dense traffic near Burriana in the direction of Tarragona, an incident that has since normalized. The DGT's special traffic operation for Easter will conclude at midnight, coinciding with the end of the holiday period in several autonomous communities, including the Comunitat Valenciana.
