Twelve Treated for Smoke Inhalation and Anxiety in Valencia Fire

Twelve people were treated by medical services, one of them hospitalized at La Fe Hospital, after a home caught fire in València's Plaça del poeta Badenes on Thursday night.

The flames broke out around 11:40 PM. Several medical units and a primary care medical team were dispatched to the scene. Medical services attended to a total of twelve people.
Among those treated, a 66-year-old woman was transferred to València's La Fe Hospital for smoke inhalation and second-degree burns. The other eleven people were discharged at the scene, three for anxiety and the remaining eight for mild smoke inhalation.
According to sources from the València City Council, the fire has been extinguished. Municipal firefighters carried out ventilation tasks in the stairwell and the affected dwelling, which was completely destroyed.
