A group of striking teachers went today to the Polytechnic University of Valencia to meet with the President of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, who had an event scheduled. Representatives of management teams also asked the president to "take the bull by the horns" and sit down at the negotiating table until an agreement is reached to end the indefinite strike.

The head of the Council reiterated his message, stating that if the unions do not show flexibility, there will be no agreement. The teachers criticized the attitude of the Secretary of Education, Daniel McEvoy, and the regional minister Carmen Ortí. The president defended them, reminding that "everyone has their responsibilities" and that he "is not Superman".

Nevertheless, the teachers insisted that, as "orchestra conductor," he must personally get involved in the negotiation, as the situation is "wearing them out a lot" and "cannot be prolonged another week." They lamented the treatment received from the regional ministry, which they believe treats them "like the enemy".

Pérez Llorca criticized, without explicitly naming it, STEPV, accusing it of not wanting to negotiate and of maintaining the same initial positions. "This is not negotiating, this is imposing," he declared. Later, in front of a group of journalists, he directly named the majority union, which represents 52% of the union delegates in the Valencian Community.
