This initiative, presented at the Seatrade Cruise Global Miami fair, marks the first time the provincial corporation participates with its own entity in this global sector event. The objective is to redefine the province's role in international cruise tourism, offering alternatives to the capital.

The Deputy of Tourism, Pedro Cuesta, leads this offensive, advocating for a model that goes beyond traditional tourism. The goal is to leverage the thousands of passengers who call at the port of València to offer them unique experiences, such as heritage routes, nature getaways, or gastronomic proposals in inland towns. This strategy seeks to decongest the city and, at the same time, economically revitalize other less visited areas of the province.
Collaboration with Valenciaport is fundamental to connect the flow of cruise passengers with a more diverse tourist offering. During the fair, meetings will be held with shipping companies and international operators with the intention of including new excursions throughout the province in the official cruise catalogs.
The Valencian proposal stands out for its emphasis on experience. Beyond promoting destinations, authentic experiences are sought. Gastronomy will be one of the main attractions, with live demonstrations of traditional dishes such as paella and fideuà, paired with local wines and cavas, aiming to seduce the American market through the senses.
