The musical group Cien Galgos, made up of Samuel Escribano, Alba Pla, and Manolo Sánchez, is releasing their debut album titled '9 de 100'. This work, presented in the order of their recent concerts, was created with the intention of honestly showcasing their passion for music, as the members highlight.
The album features ten tracks addressing various themes, from work-related anxiety and lack of time to leisure moments and parties with friends. It also includes a song about Fidel Castro's cow, titled 'Ubre Blanca', which explores the use of different resources. According to Pla, these ten tracks result in a complete and well-rounded album.
The band has already begun working on their second album, which will mark a new phase with a fresh imaginary and a reinvented sound. Cien Galgos, already considering themselves 'quite polished from their previous band experiences,' aims to constantly evolve through the energy of their live performances.
The album covers were created by Valencian artist Adrià Miko, whom the band considers a great success. The collaboration with Miko, as well as with photographers María Varo and Virginia Sogorb, has been crucial in building their story. The group champions emerging talent from Valencia, believing in the importance of supporting local artists.
