Valencia CF continues in a cycle of recurring crises, where each new coach attempts to solve problems, but the situation repeats itself. Carlos Corberán, who last season managed to pull the team out of a very delicate sporting situation, is now under scrutiny due to a lack of results in the current league.
The team, after two consecutive defeats, is in fourteenth place in the table, just three points above safety. The balance of results is concerning: nine wins, eight draws, and fourteen losses in 31 matches played.
Corberán's statistics are alarming. Among coaches who have managed Valencia for a minimum of 50 matches, the coach from Cheste has the second-worst win record, tied with Rubén Baraja, with 18 wins in 52 matches, representing a 34.6% win rate.
The goal difference is the most worrying aspect, reflecting the team's defensive fragility. Since Corberán took charge, the balance is -12 goals, the worst among all coaches who have reached 50 matches with Valencia in the League. Furthermore, the percentage of lost matches is 36.5% (19 losses in 52 matches), the fourth-worst record.
