The National Police have arrested a 32-year-old woman in Valencia accused of drug trafficking at the home where she worked as a caregiver for an elderly person, following a family complaint.

The investigation began after a complaint was filed at the Abastos district Police Station by a relative of the victim. This relative found a bag with suspicious substances in the home of their mother, an elderly woman with cognitive impairment who received home care.
The complainant also provided a photograph showing various items, including bags with white substances, pink pills, a sachet, and a weighing scale. These pieces of evidence led officers to suspect a possible case of drug trafficking.
Officers went to the home and, with the complainant's authorization, entered to collect the found substances. From that moment, the investigation focused on one of the caregivers working at the residence.
After setting up a police operation, officers intercepted the suspect as she arrived at the home to begin her workday and proceeded with her arrest. At the time of the arrest, they seized a transparent plastic bag containing methamphetamine that she had hidden in her cleavage.
In total, officers confiscated 113 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of cocaine, six and a half grams of pink cocaine known as 'tusi', and approximately 27 grams of MDMA (ecstasy). Additionally, 280 euros in cash, a weighing scale, and other items related to drug trafficking were seized. The detainee has been placed at the disposal of the judicial authority as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
