The Summer Nights at CaixaForum Valencia are solidifying their position as a space for gathering and creativity, inviting the public to enjoy culture in its diverse forms. The program merges music, dance, magic, circus, and other creative expressions, with activities designed for all audiences and ages, promoting a vibrant and participatory culture.
The initiative will take place across various spaces within the center and will complement the current exhibitions: The Worlds of Alicia. Dreaming Wonderland and Music and Mathematics. A Sonic Journey from Chaos to the Cosmos. Within the Alicia exhibition, a special sonic experience will be offered with three playlists created by interdisciplinary composer Raquel García Tomàs, bailaora Rocío Molina, and pianist Francesco Tristano.
A new addition is the Calm Space, a quiet zone designed to reduce stress and sensory overload, reinforcing CaixaForum Valencia's commitment to an inclusive cultural experience. Throughout the four scheduled nights, the center will modify its usual opening hours, including the shop and café with a special offering.
The first night, July 2nd, will be the Night of Circus and Play, dedicated to families. It will feature the show Ambulant by the Valencian company La Fam, recipient of several awards and directed by Adrian Schvarzstein. Also featured will be Embolic by Pau Palaus, the installation Loop! Habitar el ritme del joc by Prohibit No Tocar, balance and juggling workshops with Los Herrerita, and itinerant concerts with La Trocamba Matranusca, along with a ukulele workshop by Salva Rey.
On July 9th, the Night of Magic and Objects will present illusionism and object theater. The Auditorium will host Aluzina by Nacho Diago, and Gota by Txema Muñoz, winner of the MAX Award 2026, will also be featured. Illusionist Paco Agrado will present L’art impossible, with itinerant magic by Amèlie Magia and Inmagic, participatory magic by Maga Patricia Màgia, and a theremin workshop.
The Night of Rock ‘n’ Roll, on July 16th, will celebrate this lifestyle with concerts, talks, and workshops. Highlights include a performance by Alba Blanco (La Perra Blanco), the energetic live show of the Valencian band Malaestrella, the concert Guitarres sorprenents by Mario Cobo, and an act by Velvet Candles. These will be complemented by hairdressing and twist workshops led by Jana Grulichová.
Finally, on July 23rd, the Night of Jazz and Movement will conclude the series. It will feature a concert by the emerging vocal jazz artist Leïla Duclos, a jam session by Berklee Valencia, and the participatory dance project Cossos que recorden with participants over 60 years old. The performance La declamació muda by Melania Olcina and Jorge Moreno del Barco will also be presented, along with a tap dance workshop.
