The VI Exhibition of Orchids and other plants will take place in Burjassot from April 10 to 12, bringing together nearly 30 national and international exhibitors at the Old Municipal Market, establishing itself as a benchmark event for plant enthusiasts.

With the support of the Department of Commerce and Markets, led by Rosa Coca, and through CEMEF, the Association of Orchid Friends of Burjassot (AOB) is organizing this event, which this year commemorates its tenth anniversary. The exhibition has become one of the most relevant national gatherings for enthusiasts, collectors, and professionals in the plant sector.
The exhibition will open on Friday, April 10, at 5:00 PM at the Old Municipal Market. Over the three days, visitors can enjoy a wide range of offerings, including specialized sales of orchids, tropical plants, carnivorous plants, cacti, bonsais, and accessories. Additionally, there will be renowned international exhibitors, practical workshops, informative talks, family activities, and an artistic and photographic exhibition.

One of the weekend's highlights will be the orchid judging, which will be open to the public, allowing them to witness firsthand the evaluation criteria of international experts.

The program of activities will begin on Friday, April 10, with a mosaic workshop at 6:00 PM, followed by the official inauguration at 7:30 PM. On Saturday, April 11, activities will start at 10:00 AM with the talk 'Key to abandonment,' a terrarium assembly workshop with a subsequent raffle at 11:00 AM, and a talk on orchid recovery at 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, there will be a discussion on the cultivation of stanhopea.
To conclude the weekend, on Sunday, April 12, a workshop on transplanting, fastening, substrates, and containers will be offered at 10:00 AM, and a painting contest for children at 12:00 PM. The fair will close its doors at 2:00 PM, after the raffle drawing.
