The project is structured into three distinct floors. The ground floor will become the clinical core, housing the bunker for the proton accelerator, as well as consultation rooms and waiting areas adapted by age. The basement will house technical and infrastructure services, while the first floor will be dedicated to specialized staff and support facilities.

One of the main design features is the integration with the current hospital through an underground tunnel that will connect directly to the Radiation Oncology service. This connection will ensure continuity of care and coordination between medical teams.

The center also incorporates humanization criteria, such as a central green patio designed for the emotional well-being of patients. The total investment in the construction amounts to 21.5 million euros, funded by the Generalitat, while the technological equipment, valued at 29.04 million euros, has been donated by the Amancio Ortega Foundation.

According to forecasts, construction and equipment installation will be completed between May and June 2027. After a two-month period for calibration and system testing, it is expected that the first patient will be able to receive treatment in August of that same year.
