The Villena City Council has put out to tender the organization and management service for the "Sal de Casa" summer campaign, an educational leisure program aimed at children and youth.

The campaign, with a base budget of 154,677.45 euros and an estimated contract value of 210,923.79 euros, will last for two years with the possibility of an extension. The initiative, promoted by the Department of Childhood, Adolescence, and Youth, is divided into three distinct lots: a general leisure and free time program, an inclusive camp for minors and young people with functional diversity or special needs, and a specific line of technological and creative workshops and camps.
The main objective of the campaign is to offer Villena families a healthy leisure alternative during the non-school period, fostering coexistence, inclusion, education in values, and work-life balance. The main lot, "Sal de Casa leisure and free time," concentrates the largest part of the budget (147,903.12 euros) and includes urban camps, summer clubs, and summer schools in the villages of Las Virtudes and La Encina for children aged 6 to 12, with an estimated 250 participants.
The second lot focuses on an inclusive camp for individuals aged 6 to 21 with special needs or functional diversity, with an estimated 24 places and a maximum ratio of one monitor for every three or four participants, aiming to promote social inclusion. The third lot will focus on summer workshops and camps related to artistic and technological disciplines, such as musical theater, photography, audiovisual creation, programming, robotics, 3D design, or cybersecurity, aimed at adolescents and young people aged 13 to 21.
The campaign will primarily take place at the Espacio Joven, educational centers, municipal sports facilities, and the villages of Villena. The contract also includes excursions, outdoor activities, water games, and educational workshops. Awarded companies must have specialized staff, civil liability insurance, and negative certificates from the Central Registry of Sex Offenders.
Offers can be submitted until next May 27, with the opening of economic proposals scheduled for the 28th. The main award criterion will be the economic offer (up to 75 points), supplemented by hourly improvements (up to 25 additional points).
