Driven by the CRESOL association along with ECOADAPTA, the LOWCARBON Foundation, and A.D.R.I. Ribera del Duero Burgalesa, EMPODERA focuses on regions such as Alto Palancia and Alto Mijares. This project is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) through the Empleaverde+ program of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

The main objective is to strengthen skills related to sustainable employment, adaptation to climate change, and the creation of collaboration networks within the green sector. Furthermore, it places special emphasis on the role of entrepreneurial women as a driving force for social and economic transformation in these communities.

As part of its program, the Associació Cresol has organized several free hybrid courses, which will be taught in the afternoon and will include an accredited diploma. These include the Communication, Education, and Sustainable Awareness course, scheduled from May 25 to July 2, and the Climate Change Adaptation course for administration technicians and public policy managers, which will run from June 9 to July 7.

The project also includes a Project Management Workshop in collaboration with the Mancomunidad del Alto Palancia, with its first session taking place on May 18 in Soneja. This training will be complemented by three other workshops focused on seeking opportunities, aid, and subsidies, as well as preparing and managing initiatives with local impact.

Through these actions, EMPODERA seeks to contribute to building a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient rural development model, betting on local talent and innovation as future cornerstones.
