The regular season of Segunda Federación concluded today, with several Valencian teams determining their fate. Alcoyano finished fifth in Group 3, which qualifies them for the play-off to ascend to Primera RFEF. They will now face one of the second-placed teams from other groups, with the disadvantage of playing away. If they overcome this first tie, they will need to win another to achieve promotion.
At the bottom of the table, Orihuela, Intercity, and Elche Ilicitano confirmed their permanence in the category. Orihuela defeated Getafe B 2-1, and Intercity also secured three points against Colonia Moscardó (2-0). Elche Ilicitano's reserve team, despite a loss, was saved thanks to other match results.
Meanwhile, Castellón B, despite a 4-2 victory against Girona, could not avoid the relegation play-out due to unfavorable results in other matches. They will now play a decisive tie to maintain their category, with potential opponents including Real Madrid C, Estepona, and SD Logroñés.
For the next season, five Valencian teams are already guaranteed in Segunda RFEF: Valencia Mestalla, Orihuela, Intercity, Elche Ilicitano, and Castellonense, who have been promoted as champions of Group 6 of Tercera RFEF. Castellón B could join them if they secure permanence, Alcoyano if they do not achieve promotion to Primera RFEF, and another team from Group 6 of Tercera RFEF if they win their play-off.
