The town of L'Alcora has lost today one of its residents most linked to bullfighting activity, who was a founder and president of the local bullfighting club during the period between 1993 and 2001.

The deceased dedicated a significant part of his life to fostering bullfighting interest in L'Alcora. During his time at the head of the entity, the club experienced notable growth in membership, reaching nearly 500 associates and obtaining various recognitions for its work.
Among his most notable contributions, his effort to organize bullfights in Plaza España is remembered. In those years, facing a lack of institutional financial support, he sought collaborations with private companies to make these events possible and support young bullfighters in the province.
In addition to his role as a director, he was a great conversationalist and gathered one of the most important collections of bullfighting books and documentation in Spain. He also promoted activities such as trips to ranches and conferences with professionals in the sector, maintaining a close relationship with prominent figures in the bullfighting world.
The funeral mass will take place this Saturday, at 16:00, at the Parish of the Assumption in L'Alcora.
