The provincial institution, through its Publications Service, has edited this work that compiles centuries of history and tradition connected to this municipality in Alcalatén. The book, authored by Amadeu Porcar, traces the evolution of the parish of Sant Mateu from its origins to the present day, covering key moments such as the construction of the current church.

The Deputy for Publications, Marisa Torlà, emphasized the importance of preserving and disseminating the heritage of towns. It is betting on the identity of our province, on its traditions, on its culture, and on the essence of towns like Figueroles, which represent the authenticity and richness of our territory".
