This program, aimed at local families, seeks to offer a solution for childcare while parents are at work. It will take place in the municipality's Infant and Primary education centers, with the possibility of enrollment for monthly, fortnightly, or weekly periods, adapting to the needs of each family.

The base tender budget for one year amounts to 67,212 euros, with an estimated value of 111,094 euros if an additional one-year extension is included. The main objective is twofold: to contribute to the reconciliation of family and work life, and to provide quality educational leisure and free time activities for minors.

The Summer School will last six weeks, from June 29 to August 7, inclusive. The core hours will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, but there is an option for early entry with the early morning school service, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, and a dining service from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

A total of 400 places will be offered, intended for children aged 3 to 12 years who are registered or enrolled in 2nd cycle Infant Education or Primary Education centers in Sant Joan. Children aged 3 must have been enrolled in Infant Education during the current academic year. Minors not registered in the municipality will also be admitted if they are enrolled in local educational centers and vacancies exist, although in this case, the full cost of the place will be borne by the users.

In addition to the benefit for families, this service will generate temporary jobs for professionals with qualifications such as higher technician in Early Childhood Education, higher technician in Sociocultural and Tourist Animation, higher technician in Socio-Sports Teaching and Animation, higher technician in Social Integration, leisure and free time monitors, and assistant in Early Childhood Education or Kindergarten.
