The San Vicente del Raspeig City Council has tendered a 247,966 euro contract to improve the facilities of the Local Police, with the aim of redistributing spaces and optimizing access control in the headquarters.

Once the contract is awarded, the works must be executed within a period of six months. The justification for these works is based on the need to redistribute some rooms in the facilities, built in 2008 on Calle la Huerta.
The project seeks better access control and to separate the Local Police facilities from the Civil Protection building, as both structures are located on the same plot. Additionally, the dependencies on all floors will be compartmentalized and redistributed.
On the ground floor, a reception will be created at the entrance. The left wing, designated for administrative use and including an office for victim assistance (SAF, VIOGÉN) and a waiting room for victims' families, will add an office for commanders. In the right wing, which currently houses a police report room, a briefing area for short meetings and task distribution is planned. Finally, on the upper floor, which already has an administrative room, another office for commanders will be generated.
Among the requirements for the awarded company, it is established that existing facilities must be maintained «as far as possible», without altering the volume of the building, and that the new spaces generated must be compatible with the current construction.
