The competition, which has an economic endowment of 5,000 euros, is aimed at adults who submit original, unpublished, and unreleased works. The call maintains its purpose of supporting the use of Valencian in artistic and cultural activities.
Works must be written in Valencian, with a free theme, and submitted typed in digital format. Their length must be a minimum of 15 pages and a maximum of 30, in DIN A4 size, double-spaced, and with Arial font type of 12 points.
The deadline for submitting originals will be July 15th, before 11:59 PM. Applications will be processed electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Alicante.
The required documentation includes the submitted work, a brief curriculum vitae of the author(s), and a copy of the DNI or NIE. Originals should not be signed or contain any identifying marks to ensure anonymity during evaluation.
The award will be presented to the author of the winning work, or proportionally among the signatories if it is a collective creation. The award ceremony will take place at a cultural event in the city of Alicante, on a date and at a location to be determined by the organization.
The Provincial Council reserves the representation rights of the winning work for one year in free events, as well as the possibility of publishing and distributing it in a non-profit printed or digital edition. The edition, if carried out, will consist of a minimum of 250 copies and a maximum of 1,000.
The jury may declare the award void if it considers that the submitted works do not reach sufficient quality. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.
