The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has indicated that, despite the predominance of sunshine, local fog banks could appear on the coast in the early hours. Furthermore, the development of diurnal cloudiness in the northern interior of the Valencian Community is not ruled out, which could bring occasional showers accompanied by thunderstorms during the afternoon.
Regarding temperatures, slight increases or no significant changes are expected. In the last 24 hours, the city of Alicante recorded a maximum of 24.8 degrees Celsius. However, municipalities such as Pego, also in Alicante province, reached 28.4 degrees Celsius on the previous day, showing a warmer environment in some inland areas.
The maritime forecast for the coastal waters of Alicante predicts southerly winds of force 2 to 4, with intervals of force 5 in the far north at the beginning and end of the day. The sea state will be slight to choppy, with areas of moderate swell in the north at times, with the situation being temporarily regular.
Looking ahead to Monday, general stability will be maintained, with similar conditions and no significant temperature changes. Nevertheless, the possibility of isolated thunderstorms in inland areas of the northern Valencian Community will persist.
