Two people have been imprisoned after being arrested in an operation against drug trafficking carried out in the province of Alicante, according to police sources.

The detainees, a man and a woman, are under investigation for a crime against public health. The police action resulted in the seizure of more than three kilograms of cocaine, one kilogram of hashish, cash, mobile phones, and various items used for illicit activity.
The investigation focused on a home in Novelda, where agents detected signs of the reactivation of a drug sales point. During surveillance, it was observed that the man traveled to other locations to distribute the drugs.
At the time of the arrest, agents intercepted the suspect's vehicle, where they located substances hidden in a modified area of the car, known as a 'caleta'. Additionally, a second intervention in a garage in Aspe led to the discovery of more drugs in the trunk of another vehicle.
The detainees have been brought before the duty investigating courts of Elche, which have ordered imprisonment for both individuals.
