TRAM Alicante is activating a special night service this Saturday, June 13th, with 60 additional journeys, to facilitate travel during the Entrada de Bandas, one of the events preceding the main Hogueras festivities.

TRAM Alicante is offering a special night service this Saturday, June 13th, to facilitate travel around the city for the Entrada de Bandas, one of the events preceding the main days of the Hogueras of Alicante. The service extends the usual operating hours of lines 2, 3, and 4 throughout the night and adds 60 extra journeys between the center of Alicante and the usual destinations of these lines, in both directions. This operation is part of the special night services planned for the weekends leading up to the festivals.
Furthermore, as part of the pre-Hogueras reinforcement, trams will often run in double formation during the weekend mascletaes. This measure will double the available capacity and improve user comfort during peak demand times.
Line 2, connecting Luceros with San Vicente del Raspeig, will have the highest number of special services, with 26 additional journeys, thirteen in each direction. From Luceros, the first special service will depart at 10:39 PM and the last at 2:24 AM. In the opposite direction, from San Vicente del Raspeig, the first departure will be at 11:09 PM and the last at 2:54 AM.
Line 3, between Luceros and El Campello, will have 15 additional trips. Twelve of these will depart from Luceros towards El Campello, and three will run in the opposite direction. The first special tram from Luceros will depart at 11:19 PM, while the last will leave at 3:39 AM. From El Campello, the first return trip will be at 10:10 PM and the last at 11:10 PM. This service will be supplemented by three journeys from Benidorm, scheduled for 10:35 PM, 10:55 PM, and 11:25 PM, which usually terminate in El Campello but will continue to Luceros this Saturday. These units will make optional stops at all halts, except for Sangueta, as is the case with Line 3.
Line 4, connecting Luceros with Plaza La Coruña, will incorporate 16 special journeys, eight in each direction. From Luceros, the first service will depart at 10:59 PM and the last at 2:29 AM. From Plaza La Coruña, the first departure towards Luceros will be at 11:30 PM and the last at 3:00 AM.
The special night services will not stop at the Sangueta halt. Users can check the timetables at stations and stops, by calling Customer Service at 900 72 04 72, via Navilens, and through the official TRAM d’Alacant app.
