The AP-7 motorway accumulated up to seven kilometers of traffic congestion near Moncada heading towards Alicante this Friday morning, marking the only significant incident on an otherwise calm day for the Valencian Community's road network.

The congestion on the AP-7, which reached seven kilometers, occurred near Moncada in the direction of Alicante. Although no specific incident was reported, the accumulation of traffic at this point, close to numerous towns in the metropolitan area of Valencia and several industrial estates, led to a slowdown.
This was the most relevant incident on the Valencian road network, which generally presented a very calm situation throughout Friday morning. The main access arteries to Valencia, such as the Pista de Silla, the Ademuz road, or the V-30, registered minor retentions.
Specifically, the Pista de Silla had three kilometers of congestion, the Ademuz road two, and the V-30, which bypasses Valencia, reached four kilometers due to the incorporation from Mislata. In the opposite direction, towards the port, the V-30 had about three kilometers of queues.
Regarding access to the city of Alicante, no significant congestion was recorded, beyond a couple of kilometers on the A-70 that quickly dissipated. Sources from the General Directorate of Traffic confirmed to À Punt that the essential routes A-7 and A-3 maintained completely fluid traffic throughout the morning.
