The province of Alicante faces the 2026 Hogueras festival weekend with a fully summery forecast, characterized by dominant sun, high temperatures, and the presence of dust in suspension.

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) predicts three days, from Friday to Sunday, dominated by sun and heat, with dust in suspension that could make the skies more veiled. No precipitation is expected, and the atmosphere will be mostly clear, with some low morning clouds on the northern coast and occasional high clouds.
Temperatures are expected to rise slightly. In the interior and southern parts of the province, municipalities like Orihuela, Elche, Elda, or Alcoy could exceed 35 degrees Celsius. On the coast, values will be milder but still summery.
Nights will be particularly warm. Many coastal municipalities will experience tropical nights, with minimum temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius. In Alicante capital, minimums will rise from 20 degrees on Friday to 25 on Sunday, potentially marking the first torrid night of the Hogueras.
