The Spanish Olympic Wrestling team held a four-day training camp in La Nucía, with 40 athletes from the U15 and U17 categories, to prepare for upcoming championships.

The Spanish Olympic Wrestling team chose the facilities of “La Nucía, City of Sport” to conduct a preparation camp. This concentration, which took place from April 16 to 19, brought together 40 athletes from the U15 and U17 categories, along with their coaches.
The main objective of this gathering was preparation for upcoming championships, including the European Championship to be held next May in Bulgaria. Training sessions were conducted at the “Combat Sports Center La Nucía”, taking advantage of the modern sports facilities in the town.
La Nucía's facilities continue to be a magnet for national teams, establishing themselves as a reference center for the preparation of elite athletes. A representative from the city council visited the Spanish delegation, which was led by coach Manuel Babastro.
During the four-day concentration, the national technical team worked on improving and refining the techniques of the young wrestlers. This preparation is crucial for the team that will travel to Bulgaria to compete in the European Olympic Wrestling Championship, scheduled from May 11 to 17.
