Man and Dog Rescued Near Coves de Canelobre in Busot

Alicante Provincial Firefighters located a man and his dog, exhausted but in good condition, on Saturday night.

Alicante Provincial Firefighters rescued a man and his dog in the El Cabezo area, near the Coves de Canelobre, in the municipality of Busot, following a night search operation.

The alert regarding the disappearance of the man and his dog was received around 9:15 PM on Saturday, which prompted the activation of a mountain search and rescue team.
Following the alert call, the situation was communicated to the San Vicente fire station and the Mountain Rescue Group. Additionally, a drone team was mobilized to assist in the search efforts.
During the night, the GER of the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium successfully located the man and the dog. According to consortium sources, both were found "in good condition although exhausted".
The rescue operation concluded at 5:00 AM on Sunday, once the safety of those involved was secured.
