A group of professionals, studios, and training centers has established the Alicante Design Network, an initiative supported by the ADCV and the Fundació del Disseny de la Comunitat Valenciana to boost local talent.

This project was born with the aim of strengthening the visibility of the creative sector in the province of Alicante. The main objective is to facilitate dialogue and collaboration between design agents, the business fabric, and the public sector, ensuring that the network responds to the real needs of the territory's creative identity.
The initial driving group is made up of companies such as Actiu, Rolser, and Padima, as well as various design studios and the higher schools of design in Alicante (EASDA), Orihuela (EASDO), and Alcoi (EASDALCOI). These agents will be responsible for defining the governance model and the next phases of action.
One of the first actions will be to carry out an exhaustive mapping of design agents in all the Alicante regions. To this end, an open form has been enabled to create an accessible database to foster connections and opportunities both locally and internationally.

"Alicante is a territory of great opportunities and innovation. From the Fundació del Disseny, we firmly believe in the potential of design as a motor for territorial transformation."

Design is thus consolidated as a key engine for the evolution of strategic sectors in the province, ranging from furniture, toys, and footwear to the technology and aerospace industries. The initiative aims to articulate a stable structure that allows for shared services and positioning strategies for the entire sector.
