The newspaper Alicante Plaza has published an extensive image gallery dedicated to the Special category Hogueras of the Alicante 2026 festivities. These monuments, considered the most prominent and complex of the celebration, are the result of significant artistic and economic effort by the Hogueras commissions.
Among the images, one can see the winning children's hoguera, 'Mediterrània', from the Ángeles - Felipe Bergé commission, which took first prize in its category. The gallery also includes snapshots of the special hoguera from the Bergez de Carolinas commission, titled 'Amics de Doctor', which was the subject of a special lunch.
The publication offers a detailed view of the monuments, from their satirical and artistic elements to their structural grandeur, allowing readers to appreciate the creativity and work of the Hogueras artists.
