The Ministry of Health has filled all specialized nursing training positions, with the incorporation of 194 Internal Resident Nurses (EIR) who will complete their training period in healthcare centers across the Valencian Community.

This training process, set to begin on June 5 and lasting two years, strengthens the capabilities of future professionals in various specialties. These include Family and Community Nursing with 73 positions, Pediatrics with 18, Mental Health with 23, Occupational Health Nursing with 13, Geriatrics with 1, and Obstetric-Gynecological with 66.
The distribution of residents by province includes 75 in Alicante, 98 in Valencia, and 21 in Castellón, thus consolidating the full coverage of the offered positions. This success highlights the appeal of the Valencian system at the national level, as four of the top fifteen Obstetric-Gynecological Nursing candidates with the best scores in Spain have chosen hospitals in the Valencian Community, such as the Hospital General Doctor Balmis in Alicante and the Hospital Doctor Peset in Valencia.

"This increase is part of the effort to strengthen the training of healthcare professionals and consolidate the hospital network as a teaching space."
