The initiative, with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Alicante and the City Council of Alicante, will run uninterruptedly from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM under the slogan “Donate blood. Gift life”. The main objective is to raise public awareness about the importance of regular donation to ensure healthcare assistance in the province's hospitals.
As is customary since 2018, the Special Operations Command of the Land Army (MOE) will visit the museum to make their donation. In the previous eight editions, a total of 3,327 donations were recorded, with 426 from first-time donors, demonstrating the commitment of Alicante's residents to this cause.
The Transfusion Center reminds that each donation saves three lives and is essential for surgical interventions, cancer treatments, transplants, childbirths, and emergencies. As a token of appreciation, the City Council of Alicante will raffle two VIP double tickets for the mascletà on June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, while Hércules CF will offer official t-shirts. The Provincial Council of Alicante will gift a double ticket to visit the MARQ, and ASISA and the Transfusion Center will provide various gifts.
