The Local Agency for Economic and Social Development of Alicante City Council, Impulsalicante, in collaboration with Labora, has assisted 228 unemployed individuals during the first six months of the Grandes Ciudades program, strengthening local employment guidance in Alicante.

During its initial six months, the Grandes Ciudades program has solidified its model of local employment guidance, reaching various neighborhoods and districts of Alicante. In this period, a total of 649 individual consultations have been conducted across eight centers, ensuring a service tailored to each user's needs.
In addition to personalized attention, 211 personalized employment and training itineraries have been designed, which are crucial for improving the job placement of participants. The profile of beneficiaries highlights the program's commitment to equal opportunities, with 60% of those assisted being women. Priority has been given to groups such as individuals under 30 years old, long-term unemployed, people with disabilities, those at risk of social exclusion, migrants, and victims of gender violence.
In the area of training and skill development, five group activities have been carried out, involving 62 people. These sessions focused on providing tools for active job searching, interview preparation, and effective use of digital resources.

"These data demonstrate that the program to bring employment guidance closer to neighborhoods and districts is fulfilling its objective of bringing employment resources closer to the neighborhoods and effectively assisting those who need it most. We are seeing how the service reaches more people and how their preparation to access the labor market improves."
