The rotation in the Hércules CF goal, implemented by coach Beto Company, has sparked an intense debate among fans and sports media, with divided opinions on its justification.
The world of football is a constant generator of discussions, where every technical decision or player performance provokes diverse reactions. In this context, the newspaper INFORMACIÓN has launched a section called Polos Opuestos to reflect on current issues, and this week's central question is whether the goalkeeper rotation at Hércules is justified.
David Marín, one of the writers, defends the club's forward-looking vision. He argues that, despite any mistakes Beto Company might make, he cannot be crucified for his successes. He recalls the concern generated by Carlos Abad's medical issue, which opened the door for the emergence of Blazic, a young Slovenian goalkeeper who has shown great performance. Marín emphasizes that Hércules must look to the future and that both goalkeepers have performed well, highlighting Blazic's potential to evolve and generate revenue for the club.
“
"It's not bad for Hércules to look to the future from time to time, even if it stirs up the present. And no one can dispute the performance of the goalkeepers, neither Blazic nor Carlos Abad (the best in Alcorcón, despite the 4-0), in this kind of rotation that the blue-and-white coach has undertaken."
For his part, Pedro Rojas, another writer, criticizes Beto Company's decision, calling it a "drift that is hard to assimilate." Rojas states that Carlos Abad is the most profitable signing in Hércules' recent history, with four impeccable seasons. He argues that Abad has given no reason to be a substitute and that his initial absence was due to medical prescription. Rojas believes the coach has created a sterile debate in the only position that was working well, unfairly singling out Abad after the thrashing in Santo Domingo.
“
"I have no doubt that he does not deserve the slightest questioning. Neither his own, nor anyone else's. Carlos Abad is the most profitable signing in Hércules' recent history."
Despite the controversy, Rojas highlights Carlos Abad's leadership, assuring that he will continue to help and support his teammate Blazic, demonstrating that he is an exemplary captain on and off the field.
