Alicante hosts a conference on strategy, communication, and brand building organized by Grupoidex with the participation of Jesús Cubero, former CMO of KFC and Burger King Italia.

Alicante has become the stage for a meeting on strategy, communication, and brand building driven by Grupoidex alongside Jesús Cubero, former CMO of firms like KFC, Burger King Italia, and VICIO. The event brought together representatives from Alicante's business and cultural sectors at Espacio Lamarr.
The event, part of the company's 30th-anniversary activities, focused on the concept of relevance, understood as brands' capacity to maintain cultural impact and connection with people in an increasingly competitive environment. Cubero expressed his admiration for Grupoidex's project, highlighting its ability to build top-tier communication from Alicante to the world, without renouncing its identity.
The conference served to reflect on how brands that remain relevant evolve and what elements differentiate companies capable of generating conversation and value in saturated markets. This initiative had a previous stop in Valencia.
Rafael Verdugo, manager of Teriyaki, outlined the group's evolution towards a model of hyper-specialized units such as Teriyaki, Relevents, Acords Films, and the co-owned companies The Branding and AM Acords. He emphasized that "relevance is not bought or improvised; it is built with coherence, strategy, creativity, identity, and a global communication vision."
Rubén Ferrández, corporate director of Business Development, advocated for communication as "a tool capable of generating emotions, connecting people, and building impactful narratives," linking the group's future with fields such as culture, music, and cinema.
The event concluded with the screening of the short film PORDENTRO, directed by Alicante natives Álvaro G. Company and Mario Hernández. It is a co-production by Grupoidex, Aliwood, and Publicis Rebellion, with participation from the Institut Valencià de Cultura and À Punt, and has already received national awards.
Finally, a networking session was held for entrepreneurs, professionals, and cultural representatives to share reflections on the role of brands in contemporary society.
