The Teatre Arniches in Alicante will host 'Emigradas' on Sunday, May 31st, a contemporary dance performance by the Valencian company Cienfuegos Danza.

The show, starting at 7:00 PM, investigates the complex experience of migration through bodily movement, viewing it as a living archive and a tool for identity survival. It addresses constant transformation, uprooting, and reinvention as pathways to inhabit the present.
'Emigradas' is presented as a double bill featuring the pieces 'Loca', with performances by Ariadna Llussà, Deivid Barrera, and Úrsula Mercado, and 'La Lunares', a solo performed by Deivid Barrera.
Cienfuegos Danza, under the artistic direction of Yoshua Cienfuegos, a prominent name in contemporary dance in the Valencian Community, continues to build on its 25-year trajectory. They have developed a unique scenic language, recognized nationally, blending technical precision with movement research.

The work addresses the invisible processes that the migrant body undergoes: constant transformation, uprooting, the tension between belonging and remaining, and reinvention as the only way to inhabit the present.
